Chamomile Tea
Chamomile tea is a Herbal Tea made from the dried chamomile flower heads of the plant known as Roman chamomile or English chamomile (Chamaemelum Nobile / Anthemis nobilis). It has a sweet apple-like flavor and can be consumed either hot or cold. The tea contains no caffeine, & is usually consumed before bed to aid relaxation.
The Roman Emperor Tiberius had the entire Roman Empire supplied with this beverage during his reign (14 - 37 A.D.), like Rosemary Tea, which he also loved very much. He believed that having an untroubled sleep was essential for good health and ordered that it should be served to all government officials after their busy days.
Chamomile Tea in its raw form is one of the safest herbal infusions to make (it's completely edible). Chamomile can be used in teas, lotions, essential oils, and other preparations. The blossoms are often steeped in apple juice or added to wines for flavor & color.
How to add Chamomile spice to Tea?
You can add a small handful of Chamomile Flowers to your tea strainer when you prepare the tea. You can also add 1 or 2 teaspoons of chamomile flowers directly to the water when you boil it for tea. For cold infusion, add a tablespoon of dried flowers to 1 liter of cold water, let it infuse overnight in the refrigerator, and drink the next day.
What is fennel spice?
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) is an annual plant that grows to be about three feet tall. It belongs to the parsley family and while it is most popularly used as a culinary herb, its seeds are also dried and used as a spice. The spice can be green or brown in color; it has a sweet taste with notes of anise or licorice, which comes from the essential oil found in the seeds. They may either be ground into powder form or left whole prior to use. Fennel was one of the first spices known to be cultivated by man due to its many health benefits, medicinal properties, and unique flavor.
Funnel to Tea
It is very good and you can drink it as a drink with milk, honey, and sugar. Here's what you need to do: take 30 ml of water at 100 ° C and pour into a teapot or Thermos flask. Add 3 grams (about 10 leaves) of fresh or dried funnel spice leaves and mix well until they fully sink in the liquid.
Cover the container so that the aroma does not escape and leave it for five minutes, giving its contents time to generate vapors. Then pour the infusion through a strainer into cups up to about 80-85 ml per cup. You can also fill your infusion maker or coffee machine with funnel spice leaves instead of ordinary coffee and brew it. Even one tablespoon is enough to prepare a fragrant infusion that will be able to take care of your mood and taste buds for at least an hour!
You can use funnel spice to make a variety of dishes with a very different taste. For example, you may add it to fried rice with vegetables and beef, or cook shish kebab. You can also use this spice in chicken soup. If you put the same amount of its leaves as is written in the recipe for other spices, then your dish will acquire an unusual salty taste which is difficult to name - but it will be delicious! In addition, if you want your broth or sauce to have a bright green color that screams "freshness", then you need funnel spice. To do this, grind into powder form 20g fresh leaves and boil them in 100 ml water for about five minutes. Strain the infusion through a sieve or colander and add it to your broth. You can also use funnel spice instead of parsley in mayonnaise, tartar sauce, ketchup, cheese sauces (for example, for tuna), and similar dishes.
What is Cinnamon spice?
Cinnamon is a flavoring obtained from the inner bark of several trees from the genus Cinnamomum. The term "cinnamon" also refers to its mid-brown color. Cinnamon is the name for perhaps a dozen species of trees and the commercial spice products that some of them produce.
You can use Cinnamon in several dishes to make them more delicious like Salad, apple pie, milk & yogurt, oatmeal, meat, fruits, and last but not least coffee and tea
Tea & Coffee
Who doesn't love coffee? Coffee is great spiced up with some ground ginger and cinnamon mixed in it or served cold with apple juice like 20% of crushed ice and 80% coffee with cinnamon and stevia to taste. Or a good old fashion oatmeal w/ coffee with some cinnamon ground up in it. YUM! And just to add a silly twist, coffee blended with chia seeds makes a fun and weird texture that you have probably never had before. If you want to be extra healthy add kale or any green powder to your coffee or tea for an ultra-healthy boost in the morning!
So there are many different ways of spicing up your food. With some creativity, you can even spice up something that you don't like or never had before.
